Rick, We do not currently have a way to notify users to change their status, but this is a great idea that we will add to our request list! To see how requests like this are handled, check out the following article on custom modifications: http://support.savance.com/index.php?group=eioboard&_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=134 Another option is to have your users in the field utilize the EIOBoard Mobile Interface. You can read more about this here: http://www.eioboard.com/Products/Software/MobileInterface.aspx If you have further questions on this you can email us directly at: support@savance.com

We have a number of field personell working in isolated areas on natural gas projects. Currently we have them check in when they are on site and check out when they leave using the eioboard. A problem I see is the guys get wrapped up in their work, head home and forget to check out for the day. When this happens the safety officer is required to contact them and verify their status, usually around 8:30 or 9:00pm they wuld be considered overdue. It would be great if the eioboard could be setup to automatically at a set time, change the "In Field" status to "Overdue" and notify both the individual(s) who are overdue and the safety officer(s) via text message.
